For hardcore gamers there are literally only two options to choose from, which are to get either a Playstation 3 or an X-box 360 console. There are a few differences between them each having advantages and disadvantages other each other. The 360 Elite has enough space for a whole library of X-box LIVE games as well as downloadable high-definition TV shows, movies, music, and all the other content available from X-box LIVE.
The huge 120GB detachable hard drive allows gamers to save their games and store television shows, movies, music, pictures, trailers, extra game levels, demos and other content available from X-box LIVE. The headset lets you strategize while playing together online against opponents or friends. You can also send voice messages to friends on X-box LIVE which creates a real gaming action feel.
The X-box 360 Elite has an excellent selection of games; including Halo 3 which is absolutely amazing, an incredible game exclusive to X-box. Battlefield is a game I have invested in which is astonishing along with Grand Theft Auto IV now on X-box. The only negative I could find with the X-Box 360 is the noisy DVD drive and cooling fan; which isn’t a huge problem at all as long as you’re not playing a game with no sound. Although the X-Box 360 Elite doesn’t have built-in wireless networking or a blu-ray player, you do save money when buying this product. Seeing as blu-rays are expensive to buy at the moment and I can store movies and television shows on my hard drive, I am happy to say this was the right purchase for me. I just can’t wait for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 to come out soon.
